The FIEM incubator is much more than a basic brooder — it’s a high-performance machine designed for complete incubation and hatching management.

 What’s the difference between a brooder and an incubator?

A FIEM incubator includes a built-in hatcher section at its base.
 Eggs are transferred 3 days before hatching, ensuring optimal environment for chicks.
It also features automatic egg turning, enabling continuous operation as fertilized eggs become available.

 Temperature & Humidity – High‑Precision Control

FIEM incubators operate within the standard brooding temperature range but offer much greater sophistication.
All models feature a digital proportional-regulation thermostat for exceptional thermal stability.

FIEM currently offers two thermostat options:

·         Mini LED Plus: ideal for standard models

·         Evo Plus: for high-capacity models — supports multiple incubation cycles and optimized transfer timing to the hatcher section.

 A Well-Engineered Hatcher

The hatcher is a steel or PVC tray located at the base, designed to:

·         Promote air circulation without drafts

·         Maintain slightly elevated temperatures (a few tenths of a degree)

·         Achieve optimal humidity (58–62%)

This design ensures high hatch rates with minimal thermal stress on chicks.

 Practical Tips

·         Transfer eggs to the hatcher 3 days before hatching

·         Keep the incubator closed during this phase

·         Leave chicks in the incubator for about 24 hours post-hatch to fully dry

·         Then move them to a heated, clean brooder with water and feed available
